Becoming a member of a local church is an important step in the life of a believer. When you become a member, you make a commitment to give of your resources, serve others, and be accountable within the church body. It’s a wonderful opportunity to be part of God’s plan for church and continue growing as a Christian.

What does it mean to become a member of Redeemer?
When you become a church member, you identify yourself with a local body of believers and commit to be part of the church with your heart and hands. Essentially, becoming a member of Redeemer means:

• We welcome you into our church and commit to follow Jesus with you

• You commit to contribute to our mission and affirm, “You can count on me!”

 

As members, it’s important that we are like-minded on core Biblical issues. That’s why we offer the DNA Course, to explain the core mission, values, and beliefs of Redeemer Maastricht, for anyone considering church membership with us.

The DNA Course and membership process
The DNA Course is an opportunity learn “how we do things” compared to other churches you may have attended or been a member of in the past, and for you to ask any questions you may have. At the end of the course, you have the opportunity to become a member, take time to explore further, or decline membership while remaining a welcomed guest.

If you are brand new to Redeemer, we suggest taking part in the Connect Group before joining the DNA course. We offer both courses in succession (first Connect Group, then DNA Course) three times per year.
