This Sunday, September 14, we are looking forward to our Baptism Sunday. This time, we will have a shorter service, and celebrate together afterwards with a picnic and games in the park.
Welcome (Back) Picnic
Join us to connect as a church again after the summer season, and to meet new people through icebreaker games. There will be food and sports games for all ages—something for everyone. In view of the full agenda this month, we decided to combine the customary newcomers’ Welcome Lunch with our church picnic into one, big, fun event.
What can I bring?
This picnic is a “bring and share” or “potluck” style event. Please plan to bring some food and drink with you to eat and share with others.
A few practical tips:
Please bring hand-held food with you that doesn’t need to be heated up or prepared. Think of sandwiches, fruit, and baked goods. There won’t be any serving trays or prep equipment to use beforehand.
Consider bringing a blanket to sit on, as well as any sports or park games that you like to play.
If the weather is warm, bring sun protection with you. There is not much shade at the park.
Where are we meeting?
The picnic will take place after the service at the Stadsweide field close to Studio Radium. A guide will be waiting after the service to point you in the right direction. Follow the crowd, or meet us at the pinned location on the map. In case of rain, we will have the picnic inside at Studio Radium.
