Week of Prayer 2025

The Week of Prayer kicks off on Sunday, August 31 and runs to Friday, September 5. Each day, we will meet in a unique location around Maastricht to bring ourselves and our church before God in prayer. The theme of the Week of Prayer this year is Ephesians chapter 1.

Why week of prayer?

The Week of Prayer is a Redeemer Maastricht tradition. We believe it’s very important to bring ourselves and our church before God in prayer. That is especially true at the beginning of a new season, which for us starts in September. Some members of our church choose to combine the Week of Prayer with fasting. Over the last few years, the Week of Prayer has proven to be a very significant week. We have witnessed prayers being answered and God speaking to us.

What are the meetings like?

Every evening, we will gather at a unique outdoor location in Maastricht from 20:00 - 21:00. Everyone is welcome to join, whether you are a long-standing member or completely new. The Week of Prayer gatherings are a great opportunity to step out in prayer, meet new people, and enjoy the beautiful city of Maastricht. If the weather forecast is not good, we will meet at Redeemer’s office space at Bredestraat 19 in Maastricht.
