6th Ukraine Trip: 22nd May Day 4

Monday morning was bitter sweet. At 6:00 in the morning, we said our goodbyes to our dear friend Maciek who so lovingly hosted us, then we were on our way. It was a long day for all of us as we spent the day driving back home. The highlight to this day was the getting to know each other more and the sing-a-long. On the way back we didn't switch cars as much so each car had their own theme throughout the journey. Two of the team members had to work/ study on the way and it was determined that one car would be the serious one and the other the party car. What is an hour of meeting to 15 hours road trip? The highlight of the monday was the hours and hours we worshipped.

When we finally arrived at our last stop in Germany, we prayed, hugged and said our goodbyes to the Delft/The Hague church and to the Maastricht church. Team Maastricht got home at about 22:00, whilst team Den Haag and Delft a few more hours before reaching home. The weekend was short but the moments we spent together were not tied to time.

Thank you for praying with us, and continuing to pray with us for our brothers and sisters in Poland, in Ukraine and in Russia and all those affected by the war. May we “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-17).
