NEW TO REDEEMER?
First of all we want to welcome you to Redeemer International Church Maastricht.
We hope the information below will help you to get a first impression what
Redeemer is about.
Please do reach out to us if you if you have any further questions.
We know visiting a new church can be intimidating.
What should I wear? Where do my kids go?
We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church,
so we want you to feel right at home when you visit.
WHAT TYPE OF CHURCH IS REDEEMER?
We are an international English speaking church plant that launched into Maastricht on the 2nd of September 2018. We are a church that loves God, loves people, loves the Bible and wants to show that the message of Jesus is relevant for all people, everywhere! Our passion is to see the name of Jesus glorified here in Maastricht, Europe and the rest of the world. We are part of a worldwide family of churches called New Ground. Please read more about our values & believes right here.
WHEN AND WHERE ARE THE SERVICES?
We meet every Sunday from 10:30 on at the Stay Okay hostel, Maasboulevard 101, Maastricht.
Parking is free until 12:00 and there is plenty of space right next to the building.
Normally we start with coffee, tea, cookies and a good chat. The service ends around 12:30.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
There is no dress code for attending services at Redeemer.
Some attenders dress casually and some dress up—it’s all good!
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?
When you arrive at a Redeemer Sunday service, you will enter into Stay Okay's main lobby.
We gather in one of the rooms on left side of the lobby, please follow the signs.
You can enjoy a refreshment and a good chat or find a seat before the service starts at 11:00,
whatever you feel comfortable with.
WHAT IS SERVICE LIKE?
We always start our services with a time of informal, passionate praise and worship,
guided by our worship team that uses several instruments like drums, guitars, piano and bass.
Once worship is over, we will share a few announcements about what’s happening at our church
Then we listen to an inspiring sermon that normally takes about 30 to 45 minutes
including a time of response and prayer.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
We love families and if you have children we want them to enjoy church too.
During our Sunday morning meetings we run kids groups for the ages 4 till 12 called BLOOM.
The children stay until the end of the worship and then head off with our kids team to the next door room.
HOW CAN I MEET OTHERS AND GET CONNECTED?
We regularly host a welcome lunch which is a great place to meet up with the leadership of
Redeemer, ask questions and see how you can get involved & connected. Please check the calendar to see when the next lunch will be. Another way to keep informed about everything that is happening is to sign up to receive our monthly newsletter, please use the form below. Also we have several church events during the week like Prayer & Worship, Bible study groups, Alpha & Foundations courses, Student ministry and much more.
Our prayer is that you will find in Redeemer a place where you will feel at home and
grow in your relationship with God and others.
