WHAT TYPE OF CHURCH IS REDEEMER?
We are an international English-speaking church plant that launched into Maastricht on the 2nd of September 2018. We are a church that loves God, loves people, loves the Bible, and wants to show that the message of Jesus is relevant for all people, everywhere! Our passion is to see the name of Jesus glorified here in Maastricht, Europe, and the rest of the world. We are part of a worldwide family of churches called New Ground. WHEN AND WHERE ARE THE SERVICES?
We meet every Sunday from 10:30 on at Studio Radium, Lage Frontweg 2c, 6219 PD Maastricht. Parking is available close (see contact details) Normally we start with coffee, tea, cookies, and a good chat. The service ends around 12:00.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
There is no dress code for attending services at Redeemer. Some attendees dress casually and some dress up—it’s all good!
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?
When you arrive at a Redeemer Sunday service, the welcome team will show you to way in. You can enjoy a refreshment and a good chat or find a seat before the service starts at 10:30, whatever you feel comfortable with.
WHAT IS SERVICE LIKE?
We always start our services with a time of informal, passionate praise and worship,
guided by our worship team that uses several instruments like drums, guitars, piano and bass. Once worship is over, we will share a few announcements about what’s happening at our church and share a life story or testimony. The kids go off to have a great time at BLOOM. Then we listen to an inspiring sermon that normally takes about 30 to 45 minutes including a time of response and prayer.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
We love families and if you have children we want them to enjoy church too. During our Sunday morning meetings, we run kids groups for the ages 6 till 12 called BLOOM. And basic care for babies & toddlers, age 0-5, in our nursery space provided by our creche team. We would like to ask all parents with children to register their kid(s) for our kidswork programs at the info desk at entrance. We work with a safety- and security protocol regarding creating a safe environment for our little ones.
HOW CAN I MEET OTHERS AND GET CONNECTED?
We regularly host a welcome lunch which is a great place to meet up with the leadership of
Redeemer, ask questions, and see how you can get involved & connected. Please check the calendar to see when the next lunch will be. Also, we have several church events during the week like Prayer & Worship, Bible study groups, Alpha & Foundations courses, Student ministry, and much more.
