A special couples' seminar

Healthy marriages are important for strong families, but not only that. Strong marriages where mutual respect, commitment, and communication grow over time also contribute to healthier churches and better societies. In this special seminar, we’ll explore what the Bible says about healthy marriages and relationships, and couples will have a chance to develop their communication skills during a practical exercise.

This seminar is open for married couples, as well as couples investigating or preparing for marriage. It would not be suitable for children and teenagers under the age of 18, or for couples in a relationship with no concrete plans for marriage. Childcare will be provided. About the speakers:
Simon and Gwen Elliott

Gwen and Simon have been married for 35 years this year and have been in some form of church leadership the whole of their married lives. They are now part of the Leadership Team of Everyday Church, a multi-site church in South West London. Simon is on staff at Everyday Church and oversees the Leadership teams at each site He is also responsible for
overall vision, strategy and leadership development. Gwen works alongside Simon in caring for senior leaders and heads up worship at one of the Venues. Gwen has a background in the arts and currently works for a music publishing company. Together they have been involved in the New Ground Academy and have led seminars at New Ground Leadership
Conferences. They have two grown up children and two grandchildren.
